About Helen & Michele Collectively Helen & Michele have over 20 years experince in property.
Michele has previously been a Director of both a successful property investing company and a lettings agency. She has undertaken numerous development and refurbishment projects and, as well as running the DLN manages her own extensive portfolio. She is an expert on LHA and is fantastic at sharing her very practical knowledge of property investing - warts and all.
Helen has an accountancy and banking and finance backround having spent c 20 years working for Natwest & HSBC in retail and commercial finance and laterly in training & HR. She purchased the first of her many investment properties in 2001 and has a good knowledge of the student market. Leaving the bank in 2007 to focus on property, she has undertaken several refurbishments and has developed many processes and systems to manage her portfolio and keep a track on it's key performance indicators.
The idea for the Derbyshire Landlords Network came when Michele & Helen, met for a coffee and started thinking about how much they could gain by learning from each other and sharing experiences. Together they have spoken to many local landlords who shared their enthusiasm for the idea, so the DERBYSHIRE LANDLORDS' NETWORK was launched in April 2010.
